Pareu is the Tahitian word for a lightweight printed cloth, first brought to Polynesia by the French in the early 1800s. Beginning in the 1930s, its motifs shaped Hawaii's Aloha shirt prints. This midcentury-inspired pareu features the flower of the sandalwood, a native Big Island tree prized for its fragrant wood. In gray, on a long sleeve Western snap shirt.
