A traditional palaka is a two-color plaid, white with blue, brown or red. Palaka Nui ("nui" means large or many) doubles the scale of the plaid and adds a third color. It is printed on Cowboy Cloth instead of yarn-dyed, which lets us play with size and color. This one is gray and yellow, on a long sleeve Western snap shirt.
